Weird crazy drama going on in the yoga world. As much as I love the Anusara method (and my teachers), it’s always kind of creeped me out how so many people (including my teachers) talk about John Friend, the founder, like he’s some kind of saint. It’s almost like he’s a cult leader.
I was excited to go to a JF workshop in April, but I pulled out of it. I don’t need drama mixing with my yoga, and especially wouldn’t be able to actually respect or take this guy seriously after the revelations that have come about recently.
