Cougar Town officially renewed and moving to TBS.

Cougar Town, the acclaimed sitcom starring Golden Globe® nominee Courteney Cox, is moving to TBS. The top-rated network has ordered a fourth season of Cougar Town, to begin airing in early 2013. In addition, TBS has garnered the encore rights to Cougar Town‘s first three seasons of 61 episodes that originally aired on ABC.

Six seasons and a wine tasting!

Yessss, great news.

The following week (March 13), Ken Jenkins, Sam Llyod (with the Peons) and Robert Maschio (The Todd) stop by. Supposedly Zach Braff will even make an appearance. Of course this will reunite all of them with Christa Miller and Courteney Cox (who had a brief arc on the show). so many of you have gone to cougar town viewing parties and it makes my heart heavy with happiness and PRIDE.

I was actually just thinking about the ATX viewing party while I was in the shower. I really liked the show a lot before they started doing these, but all the effort that they’ve gone through to put on the parties has made me love the show. Not to be too sappy, but it’s like we’re all a PART of it! Bill Lawrence must be a saint among men.

Tuesdays this spring are going to be so much better now it’s back.

I’m really hoping Busy Phillips shows up, but it may just be producer Kevin Biegel (who used to live in Austin) as the solo host. So here is my zany Saturday: church workday in the morning afternoon tea party/watching of either Sense & Sensibility or An Ideal Husband Cougar Town Viewing Party Superhero Murder Mystery Party and on Sunday I will recover.  Awwww yeahhhh! Should we bring our own Big Carls? I still wanna know why I didn’t get an invite. I know two other people who emailed soon after it was announced, and they didn’t get one either.
